cherry blossoms 2013

Once again it's that time of the year in Tokyo where everyone goes ecstatic over the blooming of cherry blossoms.  Lot's of picnics and parties happening under the cherry trees and mass quantities of alcohol consumed.  I try to get a nice picture for the records each year but I do want to avoid redundant images.
Well, this is the year for exploring new images with my iPhone, so I got this image of the Tokyo Tower and cherry blossoms yesterday on my way home from a shoot nearby.  I like this coloring scheme as it reminds me of Japan in the 60's, and it's right for the Tower.  I still love this structure so much that I haven't even bothered to go over to climb the new Tokyo Sky Tree Tower.  To me this is the symbol of Tokyo.
