I just love the way they are getting creative with the lighting at Tokyo Tower. Saw this the other night on the way home, so I stopped my car, put my digital point and shoot on a tripod, exposure set to program auto, and bang.
typical gear junkie question - are you shooting film or digital these days? Also, as a photographer in Japan - what kind of photography is your primary source of income?
I am shooting digital 100% now. I think the last time I went to the lab for an E6 was 2 years ago. Digital makes the shooting part more efficient although it creates more work in the post. My source of income is mainly through corporate & editorial photography, and some private individual photography but the latter I can't charge so much so I do it more as a service when my time is available.
