hello

Here I go again, starting to slack off with my blog updates. Well, January was actually a busy month with two photo trips out of the country to Taipei, and Bangkok. This was my first trip to Taipei and I found the people there very warm and friendly towards the Japanese. In many ways, the city resembled Tokyo so I felt quite comfortable there.

Image you see here was the first image I took this year right after new years day. I was coming home from the store one night, saw the clouds and the branches, and went straight home to get my tripod and Lumix LX2. It was much darker, but when you set the camera to a higher ISO setting and let the camera do the thinking, the result is this somewhat eery looking image that leaves the viewer's imagination to wonder what's with this place. Like I always say, one of the best things you can get for your digital point and shoot is a tripod. It really opens up the possibilities beyond your imagination.
