Fun for everyone

I found this mural where I couldn't resist posing a CFO and CEO  from a gas company in front of it just for fun. And did they have fun.  One of the things I've always felt is that you have to make it fun for your subjects to have their pictures taken by getting them involved.

Spring Portraits in Japan

Last week's beautiful cherry blossoms were all done leaving bare trees but this week a different variety has come to full bloom thus enabling me to fulfill the request of a traveller who wanted to have her pictures taken with the blossoms.

Sakura season has arrived in Japan

It's that time of the year where everyone gets to enjoy the beauty of this country.  In recent years the increase with inbound tourists from abroad has made cherry blossom viewing very crowded.  I see lots of Chinese couples in wedding dresses taking their wedding / engagement photos with a self timer that sometimes I feel like offering my assistance to push the shutter for them.
